Paint correction removes swirl marks, light scratches and the dull, flat look that years of automatic washes or a bad valet leave behind. It's machine polishing carried out in stages - Enhancement, Single Stage, or Two Stage - with each level removing a genuinely different percentage of defect, not just a different price tag. Correction is priced separately from ceramic coating below, so the number you see is what the polishing work actually costs, and coating is entirely your call on top.

Enhancement Detail

Perfect for: New vehicles or for customers who are already happy with their paint's current finish and want to maximise gloss.
A single refining pass that lifts up to 50% of light swirls and marring, bringing back gloss and depth the car had before daily wear dulled it. We perform a full decontamination and machine polish to maximise gloss and prepare the paint properly - this is correction on its own, not correction-plus-coating. If you want the finish protected afterwards, Wax Is Dead ceramic coating is available as an add-on from £250, entirely optional.

Single Stage Correction
Price from: £650
60–75% of swirl marks and light scratches
Machine polishing that clears 60 to 75% of swirl marks and light scratches in a single, intensive step - the honest answer for most daily-driven cars that have picked up the usual web of fine marks from regular washing. This is the correction work alone; ceramic coating can be added afterwards from £250 if you want the finish sealed, but it's not bundled into the price.
Two Stage Correction

80–90% of deeper defects, holograms and heavier marring
Our most intensive paint correction service: a compounding stage removes 80 to 90% of deeper defects, holograms and heavier marring, then a second refining stage clears the haze for a flawless, mirror-like finish. This is the correction on its own - even at this level, ceramic coating stays a genuine optional add-on afterwards, not something you're charged for whether you want it or not.
WHAT WAX IS DEAD ACTUALLY GETS YOU
Every tier above is the machine polishing work on its own. Ceramic coating is a genuine optional add-on - 2 year from £250, 5 year from £350 - the same price whichever correction tier it's added to, including Two Stage. Nobody's paying for protection they didn't ask for, and nobody's surprised by a bundled figure that turns out to include something they'd have skipped.
The coating we apply is Wax Is Dead, chosen for how it performs rather than for name recognition - durable gloss, genuine hydrophobic protection, and it holds up for years rather than the few months a traditional wax lasts.
